Where Open Hardware Meets the AI Infrastructure Era

Lattice and AMI, a Lattice Company, will demonstrate how an open control plane can help organizations build secure, scalable, and manageable AI infrastructure from silicon to rack.

During the event, Lattice and AMI will deliver keynote and technical presentations, showcase open secure management and control solutions, and host interactive demonstrations highlighting secure platform firmware, infrastructure manageability, AI rack management, quantum-resistant security, connectivity, and modular rack-scale architectures.

Together, Lattice and AMI technologies will be on full display, demonstrating how organizations can build open, interoperable infrastructure capable of supporting the growing demands of AI data centers.

The Open Control Plane: From AI Racks to Autonomous Infrastructure

The future of infrastructure will require systems that can operate with less human intervention, from dark data centers on Earth to systems in space. That will not be possible if compute, power, cooling, firmware, security, and telemetry continue to be managed separately. AI racks are where this challenge is showing up first, because performance, availability, recovery, and efficiency now depend on the rack working as one system.  Ford Tamer, CEO of Lattice Semiconductor, joined by Sanjoy Maity, Senior Vice President and Leader of AMI, Lattice Semiconductor’s platform firmware and infrastructure manageability business, will discuss how the OCP community can connect the open technologies already in place into a common management and control model for compute infrastructure. They will also outline the role OCP can play in defining the interfaces, specifications, and reference designs needed to make that model practical.
